STAR Hub
STAR stands for "Sustainability Transformation Action and Research" and launched itself in 2025. STAR Hub is a center for research, education, and collaboration aimed towards transitioning our society into sustainability.

I4C is a non-profit partner of STAR Hub sharing in a vision of socioecological sustainability and "future-proofing" society.
CHANGE Health
CHANGE Health is an Alberta based charity offering education, camps, workshops, and support for developing and sustaining healthy lifestyles. I4C and CHANGE have a strong convergence in supporting mental health in natural settings.

I4C supports CHANGE's vision and collaborates with CHANGE, especially around land-based activities at the CHANGE Centre.
Alberta Mycological Society
The Alberta Mycological Society (AMS) is about all things mushroom!, in Alberta and western Canada. They organize mushroom forays, educational events, advocate for conservation, and much more.

I4C is a member of AMS and collaborates in offering mushroom forays, supporting the annual AMS Wild Mushroom Expo, and more.

Edmonton
Permaculture Guild
Permaculture is perhaps the most well-known post-industrial approach to agriculture, I4C sharing many of its ecological values and vision of "a harmonious integration of landscape and people".
​
The Edmonton Permaculture Guild (EPG) supports local food initiatives and community-building around food and resiliency. I4C and EPG continue to explore their relation and support many of these activities together.
Genesis
Permaculture
I4C and Genesis Permaculture have been
in conversation with CHANGE Health about creating some permaculture opportunities out at the CHANGE Center.

We're working on developing a
Permaculture Design Course (PDC)
in summer 2026.
